A vacation that works for everyone

Traveling with kids means more moving parts: nap schedules, school breaks, picky eaters and rooms that actually fit everyone. We've been planning family trips for Central Valley families for decades, and we know which resorts have great kids' clubs, which cruise ships suit which ages and when the parks are least crowded.

We look after flights, rooms, park tickets and transfers, and we plan reunions and multi-generation trips too, from a week in a beach villa to a group cruise. Our sister company, Storer Coachways, can even move a large group by motorcoach.

  • Resorts, ships and rooms that suit your kids' ages
  • Theme park tickets, hotels and dining in one plan
  • Connecting rooms, suites and villas for big groups
  • Reunions and group trips coordinated for you

Ways to travel together

Find your kind of family trip

Every family is different. Here are the trips we plan most often, and who they suit best.

Theme parks

Disneyland is a day's drive from Modesto, and Walt Disney World and Universal are an easy flight. We help with tickets, hotels and when to go.

Best for: Young kids, first big trips and the young at heart

Beach resorts & kids' clubs

Supervised kids' clubs, shallow pools and family suites, so the kids stay busy and the grown-ups get some time by the water.

Best for: Families who want to relax together and apart

Family cruises

Water slides, youth programs by age, character experiences and connecting cabins. Lines like Disney Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean are built for families.

Best for: Multiple destinations without repacking

National parks & road trips

Yosemite is practically in our backyard, and Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon make great summer trips. We book lodging early, since park rooms go fast.

Best for: Outdoorsy families and budget-friendly adventures

Reunions & multi-generation trips

Villas, group cruises, connecting rooms and space to gather. We coordinate everyone's travel, and Storer Coachways can bring the whole group by coach.

Best for: Reunions, milestone birthdays and grandparents with grandkids

Adventure & discovery

Snorkeling with sea turtles in Hawaii, whale watching and glaciers in Alaska, or ziplining in Mexico. Trips that turn into the stories kids tell for years.

Best for: School-age kids and teens who want action
Ideas by age

Planning for every stage

What works for a toddler is different from what works for a teenager. Here's what we keep in mind.

Little ones

  • Keep flights shortHawaii, Mexico and Southern California are close to home and easy on small travelers.
  • Room to spread outSuites or rooms with a separate bedroom make naps and early bedtimes much easier.
  • Kids' club agesMany resort and cruise kids' clubs start around age three, and some have nurseries for younger ones.
  • Passports for babiesEvery child needs their own passport for international flights, even infants.

School-age kids

  • Plan around school breaksSpring break, summer and the holidays book up first, so reserve early for the best choice.
  • Theme parksThis is the sweet spot for Disney and Universal, when kids are tall enough for most rides.
  • Hands-on adventuresSnorkeling, junior ranger programs in national parks and wildlife cruises keep curious kids engaged.
  • Kids' clubs by agePrograms split kids into age groups, so they spend time with others their own age.

Teens

  • Give them a sayTeens enjoy a trip more when they help pick an activity or two.
  • Teen-only spacesMany cruise ships and big resorts have lounges and activities just for teenagers.
  • More active tripsZiplining, surf lessons, hiking and kayaking suit teens who want more than a pool.
  • Bring a friendSome families invite a friend along. We'll help sort out the room and paperwork.
